AccuStock LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates AccuStock, a Shopify inventory management application. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and your rights regarding that data.

1. Data We Collect

AccuStock collects and processes the following data from your Shopify store, solely to provide inventory management services:

Store Information

• Shop domain and name
• OAuth access token (for API authentication)
• Primary location ID

Product and Inventory Data

• Product titles, variant titles, SKUs, and variant IDs
• Inventory quantities and location data
• Variant images (for display within the App)

Order Data (via Webhooks)

• Order IDs, line item variant IDs, and quantities
• Cancellation and refund events (variant IDs, quantities, restock flags)

Data We Do NOT Collect

• Customer personal information (names, emails, addresses, payment details)
• Financial or payment data
• Marketing or analytics data about your customers
• Browsing behavior or tracking cookies

2. How We Use Your Data

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway, a cloud infrastructure provider. Railway provides encrypted storage, automated backups, and SOC 2 compliant infrastructure.

We implement the following security measures:

• All data transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption
• OAuth access tokens stored securely in the database (never logged or exposed)
• Webhook payloads verified using Shopify's HMAC signature validation
• Application error monitoring via Sentry (no personal data included in error reports)
• No secret values, access tokens, or full webhook payloads are ever logged

4. Third-Party Services

AccuStock uses the following third-party services to operate:

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any other third parties. We do not use your data for advertising or marketing purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as the App is installed on your Shopify store. Inventory adjustment history (audit trail) is retained for the lifetime of your installation to provide a complete record of stock changes.

Upon uninstallation, we process Shopify's shop/redact webhook and delete all data associated with your store, including components, variant links, stock records, audit history, and your shop record. This deletion is permanent and typically completed within 48 hours of uninstallation.

6. GDPR Compliance

AccuStock complies with Shopify's mandatory GDPR webhooks:

• Customer data request (customers/data_request) — We acknowledge data requests. AccuStock does not store customer personal information, so no customer data is returned.
• Customer data erasure (customers/redact) — We process redaction requests. Since we do not store customer personal data, no action beyond acknowledgment is required.
• Shop data erasure (shop/redact) — Upon store uninstallation, we delete all shop-scoped data from our database.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access — Request a copy of the data we hold about your store
• Correction — Request correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion — Request deletion of your data (also accomplished by uninstalling the App)
• Portability — Request your data in a portable format
• Objection — Object to specific data processing activities

8. Children's Privacy

AccuStock is a business tool designed for Shopify merchants. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with data, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by email. The "Effective Date" at the top of this page indicates when this policy was last updated.
